Hosting and website delivery

This website is hosted through Fimo, a product of Strapi, Inc., United States. When a page is requested, connection data needed to transmit and deliver the website is processed. This includes the IP address, time of the request, requested page and technical information sent by the browser.

This processing supports reliable and secure website delivery. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is operating our website securely. Fimo and its technical service providers may process data for this purpose.

Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Fimo’s data processing terms provide for safeguards including European Commission-approved Standard Contractual Clauses for relevant transfers. Provider and processing information: https://fimo.ai/privacy and https://fimo.ai/data-processing-addendum

Technical connection and log data is retained only for as long as needed for operation, security, investigating technical problems or meeting legal obligations.

Fimo analytics and browser storage

We use Fimo’s built-in visitor statistics only with your consent. Reports cover pageviews, pages visited, referral sources, browsers, device types and countries. We use them to improve the website. No additional analytics or advertising services such as Google Analytics are included.

After you agree, Fimo stores a random visitor ID in your browser’s local storage and a session ID in session storage. It sends the page address including URL parameters, page name, any available referral address, browser details and both IDs. The installed software gives the visitor ID no automatic expiry; session storage is tied to the browser session.

The legal bases are your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, for browser storage access, section 25(1) TDDDG. Analytics remain off without consent. You can withdraw at any time through “Analytics settings” in the footer. Collection then stops and both IDs are removed from the browser. Processing before withdrawal remains lawful insofar as it was based on valid consent.

We save your choice in your browser for up to 180 days, solely to honour your decision. This storage is used to manage your consent. Once the choice expires or browser storage is cleared, you will be asked again on your next visit.

Server-side retention depends on the Fimo plan: Free provides seven days, Pay as you go six months, and Pro one year. Fimo states that country lookup runs on the server without sending the IP address to an external geolocation service or adding it to the stored pageview. This does not exclude technical IP-address processing for hosting and security. Further information: https://fimo.ai/docs/deploy/analytics

Contact by email and phone

When you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide. This may include your name, contact details, information about your project and the content of your message. We use this information to answer your enquiry and discuss a possible project with you.

For enquiries relating to a contract or steps taken before entering into a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is handling and answering your enquiry.

You choose which information to provide. We may be unable to handle your enquiry without the information needed to answer it. Email and telecommunications providers process the data needed to deliver the communication.

Contact through WhatsApp

You can contact us through WhatsApp on +49 157 7007 6900. The WhatsApp link on this website is an external link. Following it opens WhatsApp’s service. You can also contact us by phone or email.

For users in the European Economic Area, the service is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. WhatsApp also processes personal data for its own purposes. Data may be processed in countries outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. WhatsApp’s privacy policy explains its processing and the legal arrangements for international transfers: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea

If you send us a message through WhatsApp, we process your phone number, your profile name where available, and the messages and files you send to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other enquiries. Our legitimate interest is answering your enquiry through the contact channel you chose.

Recipients and retention

We share personal data where this is necessary to handle your enquiry, carry out an order or comply with a legal obligation. Hosting, email and telecommunications providers are involved in delivering the website and our communications.

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle the enquiry. Once it is resolved, we delete the data unless a legal retention duty or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims requires us to keep it. If an enquiry leads to an order, we process the relevant data to perform the contract and meet the associated legal obligations.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions set by law, you have the right to access your personal data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing and receive your data in a portable format.

To exercise your rights, contact handwerk.vitek@web.de or write to the postal address above.

Right to object

Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. To object, send a message to handwerk.vitek@web.de or write to the postal address above.
